People in egypt all they did to make a mummies,they use a dead spirit body for someone then after that they first wash them with water and salt then they shift the brain and binned it using a hook through the nostrils. Then they split the body open and they disconnected the organs from the body. They actually keep the one thing which is the heart because they all believed that who ever guide them to the after life. They also keep some organs from others body which were the livers,lungs,intestine and stomach they keep all of them were in four different separated jars. There were son of horus and they protect the organs, Hapi protected the lungs,Duamutef who protected the stomach,Imsety protected the liver and then lastly Qebehsenuef who protected the intestine. Then after they finish disconnecting the organs they replaced the organs with Myrrh which they put inside the body also cassius and other species so they put different species in the body. Then they cover the body with special salt which was called Natron which they left for 70 days. After 70 days the body was shrived and dehydrated. They oil the skin to make the skin smooth then add fasle eyes and a wig to make the corpse to make look make life. They wrap the body with layers of linen bandages, then put a face mask was made to look like a person. They dumped the body in a wooden case like if the person was rich. Lastly the Mummies have been buried with a lot of items that they would need for after life including jewelry,clothes,furniture and even pets a like a cat or a dog so they can keep them company.
