Focuses for writing this week	Explanation in my own words.
How to use speech marks	You have to put them before and then the end.
How to put in other punctuation	You put the question mark before the last speck mark.
When to start a new line or when to keep writing	When 2 or more people are talking if one person is talking you keep on talking.
Different words for ‘said’	Reponed,replied,questioned,asked,says,happily said,mubled,gasped,yelled,shouted,told,yells,explained and repeated
Adding adverbs	Respond politely, asked politely,scream mad.

EXAMPLES

“Who can I pick on?” asked Miss Ashley.

“Me” replied Timote.

“How was your day?” asked Hope.

“Great, thank you” replied Miss Ashley.

“How was your weekend” asked Dwyane.

“It was good” responded Havea.

If more than one person is talking, you put the reply underneath.

Mary was a beautiful girl who was wearing her long black hair in two plaits. She asked her mum, “can I go to the pools today?”.

“Why do you want to go” mum replied.

“It’s hot and I want to cool off”.

“Fine then”

If it’s only one person, you keep going.

Little red riding hood walked along the dirt path and thought to herself “I’m getting hungry”. She had walked a looooonng way but the thought of warm apple pie when she got to grandma’s house kept her going.

“How was your day?”asked lily

“It was fantastic” reliped hiria

“How about you?” says hiria

“My day was fine thank you” replied lily

“What are you going to do today ?” asked hiria

“I am going to learn about science” happily said lily

“How created of you lily ”said hiria

“Thank you for saying that”lily repiled

THE NEXT DAY:

“What did  you do in the weekend?”  asked lily

“I spended they weekends with my dad at my house” responded Hiria

“Well that sure would be a relaxing weekend” Lily replied back”

“Not really my brothers were really bad on the weekends it was not relaxing”hiria in a unstoppable talk

“Well it seem like  you should just find a quiet place to relax” respond Lily

“ no way that going to happen my house is filled with my nosie family”said hiria

“Well Hiria you could just enjoy the fresh breeze and have a silent moment”

“That sounds amazing that for a little bit of advice thanks” happily said hiria

“Thank you for saying that Hiria” happily replied Lily

“ You are always welcome” replied hiria

“You are so nice to say that” Lily respond in happiness
